Where's the beef?

This page is dedicated to the frustrations of commercial activities that cause us grief and irritations in our efforts to pursue one of our favorite pastimes.    So, if you have a problem with a vendor or commercial business which provides products or services, and have had some sort of bad luck with them, let us know and we'll let others know.  Just write us and we'll get it posted.  But please, keep it honest, we don't want to spread any discontent and create hard feelings.

            Outdoor Bunker                   Ordered items, can not process order in timely manner.  Projected shipment: 
                                                           5-7 days, 4 weeks later, order still not shipped.  Cannot deliver as advertised. 
                                                           Customer Service does not answer phones or Email queries.  
                                                           Items delivered a little over 4 weeks, over half of the order were wrong items, the
                                                           items have now been returned and am waiting for replacements.  Bottom line, the
                                                           company claimed to refund the costs, but instead resent the wrong items again.
                                                           Recommend not doing business with this company, lacks credibility and fails in
                                                           customer consideration or satisfaction.  

                                                  Of Veteran Sportsmen's Interest

            USAA Insurance                    The diamond from a wife's wedding ring was lost and the company will not honor 
                                                           the claim as it was "lost" not stolen.   When the insurance was originally purchased, 
                                                 it was stated that this type of claim would be honored.  So much for their sales
                                                           credibility.  The company may have been set up for the Veteran, but it sounds like 
                                                           a low class operation now to me.  I was told that this would also be for firearms. 
                                                           In the case of a firearm, on occasion, they can be lost in snowy field, a deep creek
                                                           or stream, down a well, or it slid off a pickup bed cover, or when you forgot to 
                                                           grab it after leaning it up against the truck when you were field dressing that deer,
                                                           with the excitement and all, things happen.  But the bottom line is that USAA will 
                                                           not cover that loss.  Check your insurance provider and see what they say.
